From your BlackBerry, iPhone, or iPod touch...
1) To add Content from our gWhiz Catalog over-the-air:
· On the mainscreen, you'll see the list of installed content.
· Add content by pressing the "MENU" key and selecting "Search gWhiz Catalog...".
· In the search window, enter a search term (e.g., movie) to see a list.  Use a * for partial word searches or to browse a list of available content
· Scroll through the list and select content to download over-the-air.
· After downloading, the new content will be included in the list on the mainscreen.
 
2) To add Content from your Google Account:
· Press the "MENU" key and select "Get My Google Data"
· In the pop-up window, enter your Google Documents login and password.  Note, if your login is a "@gmail.com" login, you can leave off the "@gmail.com".
· Your device will access your Google Documents and display all spreadsheets including both content you have created and those shared with you by friends.
· Scroll through the list and select the content to download.
· After downloading, the new content will be included in the list on the mainscreen.

3) To add Content from the Study Stack
· Find data to study or add your own data.
· After selecting a data set, select "Export" at the bottom of the page.
· Scroll to the gFlash+ section for your mobile device (BlackBerry or Apple), enter your email address.
 
...for Apple iPhone or iPod touch users:
· When you receive the Study Stack email, import the attachment into Google Documents as a spreadsheet.
· Follow the instructions for adding content from your Google Account above.

...for BlackBerry users:
· Follow the "Via Email...:" steps in the next section.
· If you do not have a data plan or WiFi access and want to use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to load your flashcard set, open your email and save the attachment to your computer.  Ensure the filename has a .gts extension.  Then follow the via BlackBerry Desktop Manager instructions from below, but start on #2.

4) To add Content from the FlashcardExchange
· Establish a FlashcardExchange account.  Full Membership is required.
· Search for a flashcard set in the Directory or make your own unique set.
· Select the "Activities" tab and then the "Download" link in the Export box.
· Select the "Export to BlackBerry" button.  An email will be sent to your FlashcardExchange email address.

...for BlackBerry users:
· If this does not get sent to your BlackBerry, forward the email to your BlackBerry. Then follow the "Via Email...:" steps in the next section.
· If you do not have a data plan or WiFi access and want to use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to load your flashcard set, open your email and save the attachment to your computer.  Ensure the filename has a .gts extension.  Then follow the via BlackBerry Desktop Manager instructions from below, but start on #2.

...for Apple iPhone or iPod touch users:
· Save the .gts attachment to your desktop.
· Upload the .gts file to your Google Documents account by selecting here and then follow the "To add Content from your Google Account" instructions above.

BlackBerry only...
1) Via Email from the gWhiz Catalog or an email from a friend also running gWhiz
You'll notice the gWhiz Catalog search results include an option to email content directly from our website.  Also if a friend running gWhiz has selected "Email Flashcards..." or "Email Reference...", this content can be loaded the same way.  
· Open the email in your BlackBerry messaging application.
· Scroll to the attached .gts file, press the "MENU" key, and select "Save Card Set"
· Return to the BlackBerry main application menu and restart the destination gFlash+ or gRef application, the new content will be included in the list on the mainscreen.

2) Via BlackBerry Desktop Manager to your BlackBerry
The easiest way to add gWhiz data content to your phone for gFlash+ and gRef is to use the built in tools to access data from your Google and account or the gWhiz Catalog.  This option is intended for users that do not have a data plan or WiFi on their BlackBerry, and need an alternative method of loading content.  Select the link above for detailed instructions.

Also note, if you downloaded gWhiz to your BlackBerry as a suite instead of the individual applications, you have the ability to convert gRef guides to gFlash+ cardsets and vice versa.
· Within the gFlash+ or gRef application main screen, select the content you would like to convert.
· Within gRef select "View Set As Flashcards", within gFlash+ select  "View Set As Reference".
· Return to the target application and you will see the content has been converted.
